ABOUT US
Founder
Jay Moore is the founder of T.R.U.T.H. Basketball Academy and a dedicated basketball coach, mentor, and educator with more than 16 years of experience developing players at the high school, collegiate, AAU, and academy levels. His coaching journey includes experience with DeKalb High School, Kishwaukee College, Illinois Attack, Illinois Rockets, and the Illinois Wolves.
Currently, Moore serves as the Head Sophomore Coach at DeKalb High School. He also works with the Illinois Wolves on the UAA circuit and contributes to the Wolves Academy Program, continuing his commitment to helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, basketball IQ, and character.
A two-time NJCAA Coach of the Month, Moore has built his career on a passion for player development and a commitment to learning from some of the game's most respected coaches. Throughout his journey, he has had the opportunity to work with and learn alongside Mike Reynolds, Jimmy Collins, Rob Buss, Al Biancalana, Mark Montgomery, Cuonzo Martin, Mike Davis, Mark Beinborn, Tom Izzo, Mike Mullins and several others.
Before beginning his coaching career, Moore was a standout player at Gary Westside High School, where he was recognized as one of the Top 100 players in the state of Indiana. A three-year varsity player and member of AAU programs Bloomington Red and Spiece Gym Rats, he developed a strong foundation that would carry into his collegiate career. Moore played at the University of Illinois Chicago, Sauk Valley College, and the University of Dubuque, where he earned All-Arrowhead Conference honors.
Education has also played an important role in Moore's journey. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Dubuque, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and recently earned his Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.
Through T.R.U.T.H. Basketball Academy, Jay Moore combines his experience as a player, coach, mentor, and educator to help shape the next generation of athletes. His mission extends beyond the game—focusing on skill development, discipline, confidence, leadership, and preparing young people for success both on and off the court.

At P3, our mission is to cultivate a competitive and character-driven travel basketball program rooted in the core values of hard work, discipline, dedication, and accountability. We believe that success on and off the court is achieved through relentless effort, mental toughness, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Our athletes are challenged to Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together — competing with intensity, making intelligent decisions, and embracing the power of teamwork. Through this journey, we aim to develop not only skilled basketball players but responsible young leaders prepared for life’s challenges.

Training Sessions
1-on-1 Trainings:
- 1 session: $60/hour
- 5 sessions: $300-10%= $270
- 10 sessions: $600-20%= $480
